Tanning Beds Help the Body Produce Vitamin D

An article published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition by the Boston University research team, including vitamin D expert Dr. Michael F. Holick, states that research subjects who used a tanning bed had levels of vitamin D that were 90 percent higher than non-tanners and a significantly higher density of bone mineral.
